Convenient spot to get to other places like Interlaken by boat and close to the town center. The room was really nice and tidy, with a spacious bathroom. The services were top-notch 👌.

We had a great value for our money at the Excelsior in Zermatt. The room was comfortable and tidy, with a beautiful mountain view from our terrace. The location was perfect, close to the main street and a supermarket. The friendly staff made our stay even better.

The breakfast menu could be improved by offering self-serve coffee or tea options.

My room here was really spacious, with a terrace and its own balcony. The bed was super cozy and the bedroom was big enough. The location of this place is great, right in the center of everything 🌟. Plus, they have free Wi-Fi which is always a bonus!

The economy double room is huge with a wonderful view and a large bedroom. The breakfast is satisfactory. The location is favorable next to restaurants, shops, bus stop, Sunnegga-Bahn, ski area, and train station.

The room was spacious and well-kept, the property had a lovely intimate atmosphere, loved having a private balcony and free WiFi access in the room.

The food here was amazing and the location was perfect. The twin/double room was pretty spacious and had a nice view of the Matterhorn mountain. 🏔️

No reason to complain, I had a relaxing stay and definitely want to stay in that area again. The hotel was charming small with particularly good location close to shops. Location: the venue was so close to restaurants, shops, bus stop and Sunnegga-Bahn, the centre and supermarket and bus stop.

Return visit as enjoyed stay here last year. Ideal location, short walking distance to train stations, shops and restaurants. Lovely clean south facing en-suite room with balcony.... Matterhorn can be seen, if weather permits! Polite, helpful, courteous staff. Very good buffet breakfast, included in price, which was always well stocked by efficient waitress.Offered service of hotel taxi to station on check out, but we preferred to enjoy our final few moments walking through Zermatt. Would definately stay here again. Price reflects quality of room, location, view etc.

During my recent stay at a hotel in Zermatt, I was thrilled to discover a room with an awe-inspiring view of the majestic Matterhorn. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it was conveniently close to the train station. The room itself exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness and spaciousness. We particularly enjoyed having a balcony where we could soak in the breathtaking sights. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the friendly server made our dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and excellent service.

Hotel Excelsior is extremely convenient with clean rooms and views of the Matterhorn. the staff are efficient and flexible. the location is magnificent, close to a train station, supermarket, and stores.

This hotel offers incredible value for money, with rooms that are clean, comfortable, and even come with a balcony with a direct view of the Matterhorn at no extra charge. The location is perfect, right beside the river and within walking distance of everything you need. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the breakfast served is of good quality with a nice variety of food to choose from.

All was more than ok, and we couldn't find a single thing to complain about!

We booked a double room. We got two single beds made up as such, pushed together and made to look a double with a cover blanket. We complained and got something a bit closer to a double bed. This practice seems to be increasing. It's false advertising. We have complained formally and got an apology and an offer of a free meal some time. That's nice, but we would ask that you do your part to stamp out this dishonest advertising practice.
